work at York-West Yorkshire's York depot in February 1974. Having served
a short spell in Wetherby, John moved to Malton depot in 1988.

ticket machine/fares training for new members of driving staff. Keith is

When not engaged on training duties Keith can be found assisting with the day-to-day running of the depot in Malton, occasionally popping up in our Leeds Travel Office or at the wheel of a Coastliner bus!
Steve Gargett – Leading Driver
Steve
is one of our team of Leading Drivers, who work shifts, with some depot work
and some driving work to add to the variety.
On the early shift Steve is responsible for allocating buses to routes, ensuring staff arrive for work, and that buses depart from the depot on time. Steve will also be found assisting our customers, in person at our Malton depot, or by telephone.
On the late shift Steve will deal with any issues that need attention relating to the next day's services, including coverage of work. Stave also deals with the fuelling and parking of buses - no mean feat at our compact depot in Malton!
