Howardian Hills, was built in 1699 and is still the home of the Howard family.
The home of televisions 'Brideshead Revisited', Castle Howard is magnificent in its scale, splendid in its opulence, and breathtaking in its beauty.
Inside there are collections of art treasures, antique sculptures, and porcelain. Outdoors temples, lead statues, and an array of monuments can be found.
Added for 2005 are a new farm shop; chocolate shop; plant centre; and cafe; as well as many activities foor children.
